INITIAL CONSULTATION – $50.00
This session is for you to get to know me and for me to get to know you and the life situation you are facing. It is my philosophy that the counselor must be a good fit with the client so the client can be understood and receive the best care. If either party does not feel the “fit” is right for whatever reason during the initial consultation I will provide the client with a referral upon request.
SLIDING FEE SCALE
Let’s talk about the fee!! I provide ALL my clients with a Sliding Scale Fee Schedule based on Annual Household Income and taking into consideration households having between 2-5 people. My rates are based on a 1 HOUR SESSION, NOT 50 MINUTES!! Sometimes our sessions may require extra time depending on the situation we are discussing. I will NOT charge you for another session provided we do not go into a 2nd hour (i.e., I do not charge for the quarter or half hours). At the initial consultation we will discuss what the counseling fee will be for subsequent sessions and how that fits into your budget.
INSURANCE
I do not take any insurance because as you can imagine that is a rather complicated endeavor these days for small practices. Because I am a small counseling practice and keep my expenses very low I provide all my clients with a Sliding Scale Fee Schedule that allows me to work with my clients to ensure the fee is fair and reasonable for us both.
THERE ARE OTHER BENEFITS OF THE SLIDING FEE SCALE:
You and I can make therapeutic decisions based on God’s Word without a 3rd party (i.e., insurance company) being involved.
You and I can be led by the Holy Spirit and not under a specific timeline for treatment.
The Sliding Fee Scale Schedule is often times more affordable than a co-pay. Eliminates the possibility of unforeseen costs and or claim denials.
No records of therapy will exist in the Medical Information Bureau, which could potentially compromise your ability to get current or future life, health, disability, or long-term care insurance.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
I accept payment in the form of cash, check, credit/debit card at the time of service.
MasterCard/Visa Healthcare Spending Accounts are also welcomed.
